Salon Jobs in Chennai

Chennai has consistent openings for beauticians, makeup artists, hairstylists, nail artists, and salon managers across T. Nagar, Anna Nagar, Nungambakkam, Velachery, and OMR. Both premium chains and independent studios hire across skill levels.

Salon professionals in Chennai typically earn between ₹8,000 and ₹35,000 per month depending on role and experience. Senior stylists and makeup artists handling bridal work can earn more, especially during the heavy wedding season from October to February.

For client-facing roles in standalone parlours, basic Tamil communication is helpful. Premium salon chains and those in corporate areas serve English-speaking clients as well, so Tamil fluency is not always mandatory depending on the establishment.

Bridal makeup artists, hairstylists, and beauticians are consistently in demand in Chennai. The city has a large and active bridal market with a long wedding season, and experienced professionals in these roles are regularly sought after.
